The Ghanaian music scene is seriously on the rise with a lot of talent pulling up and living to the times. Lasmid a talent from the western part of Ghana just dropped what is probably the number one song in the country.
He stated in an interview that the release of the song wasn’t planned but it all worked out for good. He also stated that the video will be out soon.
The song is a party song and it’s fast paced rhyme in the verse makes it very catchy and interesting.
Blessed with diverse music genres and original talents, Ghana’s music scene has not seen the real progress it should be attaining as a nation with all its talents.
I personally think one of the factors holding us back is the diversity in the Music Industry, not allowing us to focus our attention in promoting one that can really sell to the diaspora. Other attributing factors include the consumption of more foreign songs juxtaposed to ours.
Afrobeat is now a wave and the diaspora is loving it. With it origins from Ghana, it will be no crime if most of our artists turn their attention and produce more of it. You might think it is farfetched but these are a couple of guys who are on the forefront trying to lift the industry to the next level in the Afrobeat space-
okay so i decided to bring to live a log lost collection of poems, i wrote when i was twenty-five. well scrolling through my files in my Dropbox my attention was drawn to certain word document i christened foreign influence. i read through it and found out the poems were good, so with a little bit or no modification at all i present to you, WHEN I WAS 25.
After topping every Ghanaian music chart, Ghana’s greatest hit song second sermon came out today with a new feel, with Africa’s greatest, Burna Boy in the mix.
Although it was anticipated, most music lovers around the world can’t still phantom the mastery and perfection of the song.
And the icing on the cake is when Burna Boy posted on social media that he will be going on tour with Black Sherif.

The distinction between fine art and decorative art is very clear , were both serve as esthetics and beauty, decorative also has functionality. This distinction has me in a limbo to were I will categories the kind of art I am about to introduce you to . “ ART ENABLES US TO FIND OURSELVES AND LOSE OURSELVES AT THE SAME TIME” by Thomas Merton.
Meet Karen Lomotey the lady behind Karen’s Art Gallery. Karen , not like many found her passion out of boredom . Being a twin sister to an artist comes with some advantage , like how you pick up her brushes and paint whatever comes to mind and sometimes breaking the brushes when it doesn’t seem nice enough. So is the story of Karen, out of boredom she tried her hands on painting and the rest as they say is history.
“I WILL RATHER DIE OF PASSION THAN BOREDOM”
“most of my paintings are nature inspired ” she said, and it is clear from her art. As a person who finds nature to be a healing remedy for the empty-hearted it is not surprising. Although it started as a hobby, Karen’s Art Gallery is growing to become a commercial venture as people are willing to buy it off her hands.
“WITHOUT ART THE CRUDENESS OF THE WORLD WOULD MAKE IT UNBEARABLE” by Bernard Shaw
Be it music, poetry or the fine art , it serves just a purpose to heal the heart and mind. “Art for me is an escape , a place I find peace a place away from the chaotic world. I hope you find yours in it too ”. Se said.
Asked about how she feels about a art and this is what she said “I believe it exhibits the values of our culture, talking of the mindset and living (the challenges), the potentials we have as a people and a nation and telling people about it”

Daddy Lumba might be on Sarkodie’s yet to be released No Pressure album.
In an assertion he made a day before his birthday on Hammer Time on Pure Fm. He recounted the time he spent with the Highlife legend. And in his statement he made mention of the song being produced by the legendary Kaywa, who happens to be on the album.
Now here are the clues I have gathered for this assertion…
t was a cold, snowy day when she first met him. She was walking through the park, her gloves wrapped tightly around her hands and a scarf covering her nose and mouth, when she saw him sitting on a bench, his head buried in his hands.
She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should approach him, but something about his posture made her feel drawn to him. She walked over to the bench and sat down next to him, not saying a word.
After a few moments, he looked up at her and she saw the sadness in his eyes. She reached out and took his hand, and it was as if something inside of her had been ignited. She knew in that moment that she loved him, and she knew that he loved her too.
They sat on that bench for hours, talking and laughing and holding each other close. As the sun began to set, they knew that they could never be apart. And so they stood up, hand in hand, ready to face whatever the future held for them.

“Happines is a direction not a place” by Sydney J Haris. This quote seem to suggest that Happiness as most of u view it is a juncture a spot or a stop. No happiness is a directions a choice perhaps. Doing things the innur to your benefits and also makes you feel good is happiness. Not seeking validation from people you may or may not know is a choice or a direction you must not follow.
Lets talk about the songs making waves in ghana at the moment . we have kidi’s touch it remix with Tyga, Kelvinboys’s down flat and Camidoh’s Sugarcane. Kidis new oficial vidio just hit 1 million views just after three days of its release.
